Tennis Club "Opatija" Tennis Club "Opatija" with its 4 fields, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and Mediterranean climate, acts as an association of citizens: gathers the citizens - children, adolescents and adults, offering the competative and recreational tennis, organizing a school for children, competitions and meetings, all with the aim of supporting and promoting the quality tennis to its members . It numbers about 160 members - children, juniors, seniors and retirees.

Working with children and adolescents under 18 years is carried out with a trainer. Tennis Club Opatija organizes the three annual tennis events in collaboration with Croatian Tennis Society (HTS) for youngsters under 12, 14 and 16 years, as well as tournaments at the level of counties and cities. Cast and crew to 14 and 18 years old. Already the sixth year in a raw, a team of seniors has won a year playing in the First Croatian League after the Second League in 2009. For the third consecutive year, club players play the Champions Istria ladies and gentlemen.

Club maintains and friendly sporting matches with other clubs from Croatian and foreign countries (Slovenia, Hungary).
Tennis Club "Opatija" operates in the tourism offer. Thanks to the favorable location of the club, sporting a pleasant ambience and Mediterranean climate (the possibility of playing out throughout the year), often come to play a group of players from the Croatian and foreign countries, and individual hotel guests.

For Tennis Club Opatija to endure since 1931 until today, many generations have dedicated their hard work and love.
